The first international scientific conference about Bosnia's Valley of Pyramids will take place in Sarajevo this summer.
A number of organisations will be involved, including Cairo University, the Ministry of Culture from Egypt and the University of Mostar.
One of the key findings to be reported at the conference are the scientific results from samples taken from the Valley. Experts from Egypt will
present reports of their analysis of stone slabs and blocks from the Bosnian Pyramids.
Bosnian scientists will also show the analysis of slabs taken from the Bosnian Pyramid of moon and the also their analysis of soil layers that
cover the pyramids at the moment.
Experts from Poland will also present their RadioCarbon Analysis of organic material from underground tunnels. According to Mr Osmanagic,
this report will provide sensational news.
The conference will run from 25 of August 2008 - 30 August 2008 and will be the first international scientific conference about Bosnia's Valley of Pyrmids
Some 40 scientists from Egypt, Poland, Hungary, Croatia, Great Britain, Russia and Bosnia and Herzegovina will attend.
The largest team will come from Egypt with 17 leading Egyptian archaeologists and egyptologists which will he lead with lecturers
from leading Cairo Universities.

The presidend of the conference will be Dr of Archaelogy Nabil Swelim from Cairo and the scientific committee will be lead by geophysicist
Oleg Khavroshkin from Moscov. A special guest of the conference will be arheolog dr. Mostafa El Abbadi who is the founder of the library in Alexandria.

New season at Visoko 18 april 2008
The new season began this week at the archaeological site at Visoko with exploration of the site expected to continue for 200 days. Visoko town anticipates more than 200 000 visitors this summer. The Foundation, Archaeological Park of the Bosnian Pyramid of Sun, is also planning to hold an international conference in August 2008 and expects more than 100 experts from archaeology and other sciences to attend. Despite the poor weather conditions, several thousand people (video) attended the start of the season this week including media and this will become an annual event supported by the local government. A recent survey, presented at the press conferenceat the launch event, suggests that the exploration at Visoko is having a profound impact on the population with some 35% of the children in Bosnia saying they would like to become an archaeologist when asked what was their career of choice.

Bosnian Valley of the Pyramids 16 March 2008
The First International Scientific Conference on the “Bosnian Valley of the Pyramids"which will take place between August 25th through August 30th, 2008. Along with the main topics of the Conference, we hope the participants will enjoy Bosnia’s beautiful landscape and Old City Sarajevo, well known for its’ citizens’ hospitality. Additionally, this archaeological Conference could be one of the most memorable events, stimulating open discussions, and presenting of various views.
With a great responsibility, we would like to present all our findings and evidence found during the last three archaeological seasons, which proves the existence of the Bosnian Pyramids. The monumental stone structures that are partially dug out, including the unknown ancient symbols engraved on the megalithic blocks, and a network of the underground tunnels, potentially connecting the all pyramids, should help us recognize the remains of a great master-peace, left behind by unknown civilization that is dating from the ancient European past.
We would like to make it possible for everyone to see, to study and to learn everything about the Bosnian Valley of the Pyramids and the City of Sarajevo, without any prejudice. This way, you will help us implement better research strategy of the Bosnian Valley of the Pyramids that is ahead of us. Because of this reason, we would like to ask every scientist, expert and guest to visit all four archaeological locations in Visoko, and to spend two days there, before the ICBP conference (August 25th and August 30nd).These locations are only 30 km far from Sarajevo.
